Uh, the guy was not only outside the car when the cops were shooting, but walked around to the back of the car. Did you even watch the video you posted?

Again, this is about the poor aim of the cops in an urban area. They hit the guy 13 times despite shooting over 100 times. That is Stormtrooper type accuracy.

Handguns by nature aren’t very accurate outside of several yards, even with a trained stationary shooter and stationary target. Add in the fact there was a moving active shooter, police that were on the run/moving while returning fire, and the intensity of the situation itself, it’s not hard to see why a relatively low percentage hit target. I’d bet the vast majority of the misses are lodged in the car. There didn’t seem to be much else going on in the background as far as potential collateral damage. The misses fired from handguns pointed at the angle the cops would have been shooting at would have likely impacted the ground within 50’ if I had to guess. The ones that didn’t hit the assailant or the car.

Well, a) there are buildings in the background, b) the dude did not have a gun on him outside the car (so he was not an "active" shooter outside the car, and c) he moved from the side of the car to the back of the car. I get shooting to make sure the guy is dead when you think he has a gun and had already shot a cop. I do not get Danja's free shot percentage in 2022-2023 being greater than their shooting percentage (especially when there were all the buildings in the background).

Apparently Reed had been shot previously. He underwent extensive rehab and suffered from PTSD. This might explain his reaction to the traffic stop. That, and the 5 officer tactical unit was plain clothes and used unmarked vehicle. He was likely frightened and confused.

He was also facing felony gun charges from an incident last summer. That might go the real reason for the aggressive traffic stop? Or not?

Now explain why 96 shots (from what I saw today) were fired by trained cops and only 13 hit. That is what I have been asking.
