I’m guessing 99% of the world would have been conciliatory in that situation, especially when being dictated to by a police officer. Scheffler was merely trying to show respect for law enforcement in a situation in which he was confused and scared, it was not an admission of direct guilt. You should know this. No way an “admission” that weak holds up in court without more evidence.

Scheffler would have to be cross-examined to get the full context of what was meant in the back of the police car. Even a novice like me know that.

Scheffler was told by the other police officer that “he should have stopped.” What do you expect Scheffler to say? “Nah, man I was doing my own thing.” You know that conversation is never going down like that.

So with statements like this, you’ve basically admitted 40x that your problem with Scheffler is that he’s a professed Christian (and as a Texan a ‘possible’ Trump supporter).  It’s obvious you’re not a prosecutor. This case wouldn’t have lasted two minutes if you were.
