There's like, two of us.  I guess that could be a high percentage on here considering there's only 10 active posters.

LOL.
Augie is decent school. I actually used to teach there part time years ago and lived in the west end of RI you speak of.
An interesting pretty rough neighborhood area.

Nobody pays full tuition at Augie or at any of these private schools. They pretty much give everyone a package of some sort.

True, and I don't want to paint a bad picture of the school.  My wife got her undergrad there, with quite a bit of financial assistance.  As for the area, once you start getting a little bit west of Augie, the neighborhoods get sketchy.  True to the east as well.  It's a diverse area.  I really like the track at Augie, we went there for high school meets once at year, at least.

Exactly.  No way in hell I was buying salmon in college.

Probably worked and didn’t graduate with 150k+ in debt either

Yeah- I was right in the west end for years when I was single. I could walk to the bars downtown. It was never a dull moment.

I think they do a decent job at Augie. These private schools have to make themselves competitive in price with the state schools.
I am always amazed at the donors and endowments at these places.
