I know you are joking, but you do seem to think that former Head Coaches would want to come and be an assistant and sit in sweaty gyms all summer and drive on shit roads in winter to shitty high school games.
Unless they are at end of career and have a strategy bench only role (MArtelli)- they are done with that other than to come to a few big Showcase tournaments to have their nuts hugged.

We need high energy charismatic sales guys with some legit ball cred, and a few guys to point to they got to the NBA. 
They do the legwork (whatever that can mean) and then prep Hulka to close the deal or at least not fck it up.
