Not sure on that free reign part...the staff has brought in athletes and shooters. Belo will be givin free reign to create his shot (driving) and dishing to others, (3's) not so much. My understanding is however that he is hosting alot of practice shots, so that could change.
Don't forget Frazier is back and DaMonte may be as well?
We will have very limited post offense with Jobu and Hawkins and BBV and Lieb.
I am guessing we take 23-24 threes a game. Could easily be the best threeball team we have had here- or the most reliant on them at least.
We were 310th in country in attempted threes (17) last year. Baylor took 24 a game.
Ncaa avg is 21-22.
Plummer is being brought in to shoot a buttload of threes. My guess is 7-8 a game by himself. You just let him go.
Frazier is all about transition and threes. He really has limited midrange and finishing skills in halfcourt and can't really get his own. You let him go also.
My guess is Curbelo is planning on having a huge year and hoping to go pro. He will have to show he has a midrange and threeball.
He will be one of highest possession guys in country. It is his team. Let him have fun out there.
Hutch is advertised as a skilled wing and three guy. Not sure he can get to the rim off the bounce, but maybe. He certainly has the best hops on team.
He is a mystery and an X factor.
Damonte can't really score other than spot up threes. They may start him or Grandison early or if Hutch can't go, or bombs.
The new guys are all interesting and could be good scorers down the road, and they like to shoot. Will need to see how they fit in, but let it rip.
