5 Available Big Men Transfers
« on: April 25, 2021, 09:42:08 AM »
BU I hope would be looking at these guys as an addition since we are obviously in need.

Assane Diouf - Fresno St RS Soph. 7'2" -

Chris Vogt - Cincy SR -  7'1" -

Sterling Manley - UNC RSJR - 6'11" -

Tristian Clark - Baylor SR - 6'10" -

Gethro Muscadine - Kansas FR- 6'10" -

If I had a voice in this, (which I/we don't), I would like to have Clark, Vogt from experience and high level competition standpoint.

Muscadine/Diouf from age standpoint and potential, and Manley due to where he is, although, very injury prone in the past.

All would fill our need immediate or long term it seems.

I am sure they are working on more bigs, but with all 3 asst's status up in the air this is likely on hold right now.
It also impacts the search for another point guard which I am sure they are targeting for 22.

I also do not think that Clark is going to play anymore due to injuries, but could be wrong.

Clark wants to give it another shot and is in the portal.

He was good before the injury.
I guess struggled getting healthy after.
Hope it works out for him

Can somebody give him a call as we apparently don't have any coaches right now.

Yezzir our current coaching smoke and mirrors status won't help us at all. Hopefully this is resolved quickly so we can move forward with recruiting news...rather ironic however, that a Blue blood is coming to ILLINI for assistance/assistant's.  !!!!!!

Well, Antigua goes waaaaay back with Johnny Bagadonuts.
And they think Chin will give them a Chicago insider.
Chin along for the ride.
Little easier to sell KY than Illinois I guess.

Not sure there was much we could have done with OA other than lock him up last year.
Once they started coming after him it was likely a done deal.
