There aren't too many coaches in the BIG I really dislike right now. In terms of just how they carry themselves, it's Maccaffrey easily.

he was trying to put the nail in the coffin... I thought it was poorly timed shot clock wise, as you can get a long 3 ball at any time, but I don't hate the shot

and yea he's been pretty bad from 3 lately but I really can't knock him for trying to get his confidence back

Oh no doubt, had that gone in, the place would have exploded.  Sure wish he'd get his stroke back.

Nice to see Giorgi put a few in.  Although he did miss another, inexcusable put back.

Would've put the game away completely, and could've gotten him a little confidence.  At the end of the day I'd prefer that type of aggression to trying to run the clock out far too early, which seems to be our plan.  Pretty Weber-ish.

Damonte has shot better from three in the Big Ten than Trent has.  That's rough but if Trent somehow catches fire, we will be a tough out for anyone.

I didn’t mind the shot in real time. He was open and in rhythm. Goes in and game is basically over and Underwood shakes his head and smirks. Misses with no rebounders leading to an Iowa runout and he is going to get an earful.

Lose to Ohio State and beat fucking iowa gets up moved us moved up 2 spots in the AP this week.  Ohio State stays at 19 after dropping to MSU.  Fucking scUM and The Pederasts  drop out.  Wisconsin had biggest move up.

Damonte is shooting 53% from three in the last calendar month. His entire shot looks different. When he goes up I almost expect it to go in now. I can’t recall that happening with a single other Illini basketball player. Usually only happens to some schlub from whatever team we are playing.

I hope he keeps it going whatever is going on... it would be a HUGE help if he can keep defenses on him at the 3pt line and hit half his 3's, more space for our other players to work
