Yes to Wagner + follow-up layup. Yes with a qualification as to the last Smith shot - he was open but I think the better play would've been a higher percentage shot for the tie.

Agree on the Smith shot.
As for UCLA, the Jacquez shot from the corner was hurried but I guess he figured Juzang wasn't getting free to get a shot. But all's well that ends well. Wichigan Michigan.

I guess I thought having Wagner take a three with 12 secs was bad idea as he isn't that great from deep to begin with and was having a terrible night. He is a beast driving and could have drawn foul.  Then Smith who was also cold took another three with 2 secs left rather than get closer and get something where they might get fouled.
On last play where Wagner took another three, I guess I wonder why they didn't try some sort of catch/tip and shoot inside FT line- again maybe draw a foul.

Tough ending. I liked UM a lot before Livers went down.
Only other team besides Illinois and Baylor who could maybe beat Gonzaga if they played well.

With their recruiting going to be a force moving forward.
