Oregon State beat Tennessee and Oklahoma State to get here. They have beaten USC, UCLA, and Oregon.  Also Co.  They also lost to Portland.

of course its hard to miss wide open layup after layup while getting beat backdoor and off the same damn play with those picks over and over again.  Yet Underwhelm couldnt figure it out.

That is a not really a fair comparison for two reasons, but I bet you knew that. Uberwood does  have more NCAA wins than Coach K and Cal the last 2 years.

How is it not a fair comparison?
If they played last year,  no guarantee they win anything, or that Ayo and Kofi don't leave as ill advised as that would have been, and we miss tourney this year.

The reality is we have 1 NCAA win in 4 years and just blew our best and easiest path to a Final Four in 16 years due to staff complete lack of prep and adjustments.

You do what OSU did. Play a zone and forget PnR.
Grind it out.

Underwood deserves credit for the season overall but that was a piss poor coaching job last week. To just stick with the same approach all game and hope it magically works is just extreme stubbornness.

Agree we had epic one month stretch.

I wish he would have simply let Ayo go iso all day and go an ugly 8-20 and get to the line 5 or 6 time rather than having him get trapped,stripped all day and only get 10 shots.
He was an AA guard put in bad situations.
Thompson went one on one or used off ball quick hitter screens.
No PnR to get iced.
