I log into the basketball forum about once a week right now, and just to see if anything interesting has happened. Must have thought I was in the Bears’ game thread. And I’m often multi-tasking when I post. And, my eyes have gone to shit the last 6 months. I should wear my readers when I post. I can read still, but have to take my time.

Helluva first game for the Bulls starting PG Ayo.

17,6,4 and shot 50% overall and from 3. Team high 36 minutes.

He played great but looked a little tired at the end of the game.  Fell short on a couple of 3 balls. The kid sure is fun to watch.

Nobody is gonna work or prepare harder than he does, that’s for sure. Kid just oozes confidence and is a gym/film rat who wants to soak up as much knowledge as possible.

I saw the last half of the 4th qtr and was hoping he would make some of the 3s he took during that time. Had a nice drive to the basket on one possession and didn't finish. Hope he does well.

Illini did not need him anyway.
