If It's possible, I wouldn't mind getting Ayo some floor time. There always seems to be an adjustment period to playing with a mask.
His health comes first tho.

My thought FWIW is that if he plays it will be score based.
If we are within 8-10 points he goes 25-30 min.
If it gets out of hand, he sits in second half of second half.

I don't see a scenario where he is cleared to go but only plays 10-15 minutes.

Who knows. It's good he is warming up as we will have him in BTT and NCAA

The legend of Ayo seems to be taking shape nicely

watch him drop 25/8/8 in a victory tonight

It would be a helluva game to create a legacy if he plays and plays well and we pull it out somehow - or even take them to the wire as a great warmup to NCAA.

Supposedly question if Team MD will clear him for tonight.

Hope he is ready for BTT and NCAA's.

Well this sucks. I love how hard we have been playing without him but this will likely be ugly tonight.

This was a pretty brave prediction, but it ended up 100% correct. 😉

I don’t really see much argument for Garza over Ayo for NPOY, yet even today many seem to be saying Garza leads. Missing a few games hurt Ayo’s momentum, but he did come back to lead the team to a 1 seed clinching win on the road at #7. Ayo’s season, Illinois resurgence, his story, his historic stat line, the triple doubles is just too perfect...plus Garza got it last year. Only reason I can think of to justify giving it to Garza is to spread the wealth a little. But then again Kofi is getting completely hosed in most of these lists.

I could see some weird splits between BTPOY and NPOY and one of the Gonzaga guys playing D3 teams sliding in.
I like Kofi a lot, but he has a lot of competition at his slot in BIG and nationally.

Ayo has made quite a case down the stretch and Garza has been just pretty good.
If UM loses today we are ranked #2 in country and best team in BIG which is arguably a notch above the B12.
