Everyone of these systems has a hard on for Quad 1 wins which include road wins vs some real Top 75 garbage.
Now OSU being talked about as a 1 seed after getting 8th quad 1 win and beating Iowa who in real life has one of the worst defenses  in the country.
We have 6 Quad 1 wins.

UM looks very good. Let's see what they are made of.

Right now- we might be best team in league with the upgraded Kofi with an attitude and team playing better D.

They haven't played Illinois, Iowa, Ohio State, Rutgers, or Michigan State.  Hard to tell how good they actually are.

I’ve been trying not to get irritated by whatever the hell it is Michigan is doing but it hasn’t been easy. Locking these kids in their apartments and having them videotape their workouts to hold each other accountable is pretty Orwellian. Would be one thing if any of them had actually had the virus or even been exposed to it but that wasn’t the case. Seems like a complete overreaction. And I definitely don’t think they should get to take a week to leisurely shake the rust off.

I doubt the B1G can even do shit about it though because UM will say they were doing this for the protection of the players and opposing teams (while also giving themselves a huge advantage by ducking tough games)

You expected something different from Michigan? Howard is just following the example set by Harbaugh. Duck the good teams to avoid embarrassment on national tv. The Buckeyes were going to beat the Wolverines by 50+ had the football teams played in 2020. Iowa was going to beat Michigan by 30+. And Maryland probably was going to beat UM, too. So Team Covid opted out of all 3 games.

The Chefs should have taken a Covid-19 bye today.

How do you know who was and wasn’t exposed to the virus? How does anyone know?

I’ve always been an advocate for individual freedom up until this pandemic, because I believed that most people, if given the choice, would choose the good and decent thing. That’s a fucking fantasy at this point. I don’t have any problem with some draconian measures if it will help contain the spread.

It’s been widely reported this had nothing to do with a regular Covid protocol (team members testing positive or being contact traced) and was instead entirely preemptive because the variant was discovered elsewhere in the athletic department. But good to know you’re good on draconian measures against healthy young people who aren’t even being allowed to visit their own families.

There are clear CDC protocols that the BB team, and other teams there could have followed to allow safely and responsibly resuming their activities. Yes, from what I have read it was not a BB team related infection.
Really do not know what they are doing at this point.

Yep. Do what is necessary. We had a chance to do the right thing in this country, and we showed that we can’t even be bothered to give even the tiniest shit about our most vulnerable citizens. Time to force people to do the right thing via criminal laws, as far as I’m concerned.

And I don’t care if they’re young and healthy. More cases = more community spread = more hospitalizations and deaths and a bigger tax on our already strained health care system.

More cases = longer until businesses can reopen too, since that seems to matter more to some people than half a million deaths.

EDIT: more cases = more chances for mutation into a worse variant too.

7th highest infection rate in country.
47th in testing. 47th in vaccinations.

Oh,  and zero restrictions. No masks required anywhere.
