Yeah, sure. Just not enjoyable to watch, but don’t let that stop ya from being a dumbass.

Since about 1976, America has had the power to determine What's On.

Nevertheless, we tend to watch what's on.

I just finished watching Band of Brother’s again on HBOMax and now gonna rewatch The Pacific. Such great series.

I think about this pretty often because I marvel at the stuff people willingly watch just because they were scrolling around and saw something maybe they’d heard of or sounded remotely interesting. Or perhaps worse, something they’d seen 1000 times and knew they liked so weren’t interested in maybe trying something new.

I usually am very intentional about what I want to watch. I then locate it and put it on. However I had surgery two weeks ago tomorrow and have been bored out of my damn mind so I’ve done things I’m not proud of

It's worthy of a dissertation. I'd be mildly surprised if it hasn't been dissertated already.

Over decades, I've collected months, possibly years worth of top grade A/V material.

Yet I'm likely to watch YouTube's next suggestion, even though Tristan Harris explicitly told me not to do it.

I've heard that knitting and crochet can be very relaxing.

Ugh where to start?

I have watched The Ladies Man, The Ugly Truth and Rambo in full. This wasn’t even the first time I’ve seen two of the three of those movies.

Watched bits and pieces of a lot of bad basketball games and other bad movies. Binge watched a National Geographic documentary on the 1980s a few nights ago.

One night last week I was so bored I went to a grocery at 8:30 and wandered around just to get out of the house for a while. I didn’t need anything but ended up buying a bottle of wine that I like on sale even though I really can’t nor should I be drinking. But at least I have it for a future occasion.

I ate a carton of ice cream which is probably more ice cream than I’d eaten cumulatively in the last ten years.

Also tried to find the bulldog gif that rob was talking about a while back.

Speaking of that I received a very inappropriate (but inoffensive) photo and short video clip, perhaps on accident, perhaps not, from an old acquaintance.

I cannot taken any credit for the Bill Gates character.

On a side note...

Normally terrible/overtly predictable movie plot lines annoy me to the point I can’t even enjoy whatever decent humor they may contain. The Ladies Man seems like it should fall into that category but I found myself frequently laughing out loud. Might have been the narcotics.

Bruce gets to play Baylor in Waco tonight. 24 point dogs. This is the type of game he sometimes pulls out of his ass. Don’t see it happening tonight.
