Well, you are full of shit as usual. We would be speaking German or Russian right now if Progressive/DSAs were in charge back in the day.

FDR was a progressive. Truman was not.

It's sad that FDR died, otherwise Patton would have been allowed to go all the way to Moscow.

I mean, Scott Colom is probably gonna be a Senator based off an ad that looks like it was shot with an IPhone and quick edited on a Mac, and was mostly just on Twitter/YouTube for free.

He was not dogmatic; he was pragmatic. He relied on Jim Crow Democrats (and blocked anti-lynching legislation as a result) and corporate types (the horror!) to manage the war economy. In addition to locking up Japanese citizens....

Custard was right.  The 2026 voter polls were wrong.  They underestimated Democrats’ strength.  But I’d be cautious about using them to predict 2028—the first presidential election in twelve years without Trump on the ballot.

And one thing about the South.  Voting patterns are shifting as a transient population, tech jobs, and changing attitudes reshape the region.  It’s no longer a stronghold of the white Republican “good ol’ boy” establishment.

We entered the war in 1941, 8 years after he took office. During those 8 years he was the most socialist president the US ever had.

Seen a few videos bitching that Abbott enticed too many Californians to move to Texas and cost himself his job.

We entered the war in 1941, 8 years after he took office. During those 8 years he was the most socialist president the US ever had.

He was pragmatic; not dogmatic. He was willing to try anthing to stave off commies and socialists. Yet, none of it was working until the war got the economy going.

But nothing is stopping Tempo and you from dreaming, aside from reality.

Mn - in a nutshell.

I disagree.  Those are Custard clones, not Mn.  Custard was gaslighting us regularly before the elections; I didn’t see Mn try to fool us.  I think he sensed a disturbance in the force was coming.

You’ve posted a lot of dumb shit over the years and this is right up there near the top

Yep, would have stayed out of WWII and we would be speaking German, or just allowed the Soviets to steamroll us like in Red Dawn!
