I don't think the newly elected Ds from red and purple states are going to be interested in a leadership bloodbath.  Keep Jeffries, consider an alternative to Schumer and move on.

Nah. Jeffries is plenty shrewd. With Schumer it might be a good a time as any to pass the baton, but he did a great job getting good candidates in all these states.
