Fun game to watch. Both teams have schemed well offensively and are executing. Both defenses have given up plenty of wide open shots. Seems like all of them go in.

Man 51-50 with 17 mins to play is so much better than the B1G of years past.

The thing I noticed was Michigan seemed to get most of the 50/50 loose balls.  Juwan has done a hell of a job there.

Yeah they got a lot of the 50/50 balls but a bunch of stuff went Michigan’s way in that stretch including a couple funky bounces and that behind-the-back pass on the wing that EJ didn’t see.

I almost think the Illini match up better with Michigan than OSU because Kofi should win the matchup with Dickinson (which is where Ohio State got killed). Dickinson isn’t the outside threat Liddell is, so Kofi won’t have to chase him around the perimeter.

Both teams kind of seem to be more than the sum of their individual parts whereas Illinois is two studs, a solid senior, and a bunch of guys.

Looks like the Bucknut game took on more importance. If we take care of business in other games, beat tOSU, and lose to Sven's team, I like our chances for a #1 seed.
The Bucknuts were tough on our floor tho, and Sven's team is solid. We've got a tough schedule.

I don't drink much anymore but I was stoned AF all day. It's the only way I can get through a game like that. And I still pace the room like a crazy person the entire game.

It appears that refs are under strict orders by BT to get MSU into the tourney. Washington pretty clearly fouled and no call at end.
