I don’t think Fernando Mendoza was in the top 10 among quarterbacks last  year: Cade Klubnick and Sawyer Robertson were higher paid than he was.

Memdoza got paid $2.6m as a free agent. He chose Indiana over Grorgia and Miami. But he went to Indiana for the redone stadium. Klubnick was at Clemson and Roberson was at Baylor for years. All because of their facilities.

Apparently we lost then because the new scoreboard was not operating yet. Nichi and Tempo are shocked they did not transfer to Northwestern due to its new stadium.

Believe on the broadcast the other day they said Bielema went to this new 3-3-5 because NIL limitations kept them from being able to compete for high end DL personnel but had good secondary and backers

It's a moot point because it was never either stadium improvements or NIL money..Always take pie when pie is being passed. Don't demand cake or you might walk away with an empty plate.

Sounds reasonable, except for the we have good backers part. Maybe they'll look gooder as the season progresses but we already knew who we were losing to the portal before Hauck was hired.
