Ok, but isn’t the point to get it right with one? Was money involved (I don’t think it was)? If not, that’s like taking multiple shots on a par 3 and claiming a hole in one if you hole out on a subsequent shot.

When playing golf, you take one tee shot (if keeping score). If it’s just practice, sure take extra shots. This wasn’t practice, this was competition.
