Support for armed resistance
Support for armed resistance fell to 13.3% from 37.1% over the same period. The poll, conducted between August 20-25 among 1,200 respondents across the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza, found a sharp shift in views on the October 7 attacks. In the West Bank, the share who believe the attacks harmed Palestinian national interests rose to 50.1%, up from 35.2% in September 2025.

If elections were held today
Fatah would win 27.5% of the vote compared with 7.6% for Hamas, though the largest share of respondents, 40.2%, said they would not vote at all.

The stuff about being alerted about 10/7 is far murkier. They were told multiple times "something" was up. Just didn't believe it. Much like Pearl Harbor (at least we moved out a bunch of ships from there before the attack), 9/11.
