Oh no, we went to war with a well armed country the size of the American Midwest and had some damage? Our casualty rate during the conflict is about the same as the number of troops who die in regular training exercises.

Not a single named source, and analysis of the damage done by some WSJ flunkies based on satellite images. Great reporting! Looks like the Iranian (Russian, Chinese) propaganda machine has gotten to the WSJ too!

Iran showed it could expand the battlefield into wider geographic and economic systems that we could not strategically control.  These included global supply chains, commercial shipping, energy markets, fertilizer markets, insurance networks and regional infrastructure.

The Iranian leaders knew they didn't have to win the military conflict.  It was always about endurance.  Just survive and impose costs in return onto more vulnerable economic and political systems.

I'd say Iran succeeded.  The question is whether the Trump Administration will learn anything.  Probably not.  Too many morons, crooks and ass-kissers.

The only things they’ve succeeded on are getting their military blown to bits, crippling their own economy, and convincing Tempo they were winning by making AI Lego movie clips.

It will take them numerous years to rebuild their offensive firepower regardless of how the talks to end the conflict go. The strait being closed helps the US more than it hurts the US.

They didn’t cave and cry uncle, cool. I know y’all are proud of them. We still fucked then up though, and will go right back to fucking them up on a moment’s notice.

Regime change was not a stated goal in the beginning, but messaging evolved stating it would be a desirable outcome.

Without putting boots on the ground, it was up to the Iranian people to free themselves. Their leadership hasn’t been this weak in a very long time.

Seems the regime brutally killed so many protestors leading up to this that there aren’t nearly as many revolutionaries left to take up the fight. It’s a shame Iran was allowed to become so ascendant during Obama and then Sleepy Joe’s terms that we had to do something drastic.
