I mean, if we just forget about the fact that we’ve decimated their armed forces, wiped out of most of their key extremist leaders, put an enormous toll on their economy and ability to fund terrorism and build nukes, etc, then sure.

The Strait doesn’t even really matter to us. Almost nothing comes through it that we can’t produce on our own. And it’s strangling Iran’s own economy.

Opening it is mostly lip service and a red herring.

The new goal in the war in Iran is to open the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump prioritizes himself.  Whatever is in his immediate self-interest is the only priority to him.

Right now, he's getting flack for high oil and gas prices.  So he desperately wants to do something about it.

Meanwhile, Trump's domestic policies, such as the wars on the poor and immigrants, are beginning to have similar effects here: increased homeless & food insecurity, loss of access to healthcare...

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Is the war in Iran going as well as Custard tells us it is?

Bibi on 60 minutes last night trying his best BS to convince USA that everything is according to plan and social media is to blame for all the bad PR he's been getting.  I read it as a desperate effort to  pressure Trump not to TACO this week.

Social media is largely to blame. But that’s because they’re doing terrible shit on video, and then bragging about it.
