Illinois holds at #10 due to blow out at USC and monumental collapse at UCLA...one game move on after hot takes.....BUT layups have got to stop, at the end of the game or during...we are better than that.

No one can bitch about how ILLINI get shafted in rankings after a loss anymore.

So the polls aren't out to get the illini unlike the refs, ncaa, announcers, cheerleaders, other assistant coaches, Chicago high school coaches, student sections, bracketologist???

Refs: they are mostly just bad, though Wagler getting no respect

NCAA: not anymore

Announcers: just bad in general. They talk about everything except the game they are watching

Cheerleaders: huh?

Other assistants: ?

Chicago hs coaches: they no longer have any leverage. Illini have an International recruiting base. nil leveled the playing field

Student Sections: something new since taunting Terrance Shannon?

These 3 were out to get us. And they were successful.



Looking at the results since the last poll and movement in the top 15 I can kind of understand staying at #10 but it wouldn't have surprised me to drop 2-3 spots
