guard shortage, missed free throws, rebounding, turnovers, egregious refs

I heard the free throws didn't matter somewhere? Rebounding we lost to such an inferior team, same as at MSU to be honest. The refs are the refs, we didn't have them on our side last game or tonight...........and it is the B1G so tighten up.

Brad Underwood had some thoughts on the officiating in Illinois game against Wisconsin.

I have thoughts on our free shot shooting, our turnovers and rebounding.

I have thoughts on Wisconsin's guys shoving our guys out of bounds to get rebounds.

Turnovers were related to the guard shortage  / fatigue factor

The officiating was as objectively bad as I have seen in college basketball.

I have thoughts on these issues being issues due to being tired since playing down 2 starters and still playing a  shortened bench.

I have thoughts on Badger players boxing out and not letting us get rebounds or loose balls that end up on the floor in the paint

Carl probably agrees with you.

Weather he does or doesn't may be a moot point....

If they box out, they beat us.

I object when they grab jerseys or push off to get position.

I object when the game is called one way at one end, another way at the other end. That is expected at MSU. Not at home.

I think Underwood agrees too

Much of his post game interview focused on those concerns. He was also clearly irate about egregious officiating. He used the same adjective I did. I think he is capable of addressing multiple issues at the same time.

What he say about his playing time management coming off a 2OT game and another starter being out?

Couldn't agree more.  Dude was, as we say, too far over his skis.  Is Robbie just Peacock now?
