Tyler has proven himself, as he (especially him) and his father have created the # 1 offense in the nation, of all the Kenpom era.
Why not Arizona State University?
Pro's:
ASU wants to make a splash in the Big 12.
ASU wants a new dynamic coach who can energize the fanbase
ASU wants a new coach who can navigate the NIL environment
ASU needs a new coach who can spot talent.
TU is very knowledgeable of the game, the P-5 conference environment
TU has roots in B1G Ten area, Big 12, specifically (Champaign, SFA-Texas, Oklahoma State) a large area to find talent.
TU has the chops to create and maintain the #1 offense
Cons:
Lack of HC experience from TU
ASU will be looked at as a mid major in the Big 12, I mean how many teams will be worse than them when ASU dumps Hurley? (3-maybe 4)

Fiancee is from midwest/Chicago.......so.......who knows LOL.
I think ASU could do ALOT worse. I hope the kid gets a chance, learn the ropes and then come back and take over for BU when he retires.
