DJI sets new record high, bought gas for $2.92 at The Costco. Eggs at Aldi are $1.42 and milk is $2.22.

(Saw $2.97 for regular at The Casey’s for those of you who do not patronize The Costco.)

Gas was back up to $3.99 here today. About $1.10 higher than before the “war.”
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Kelley Koch, chair of an Iowa group called MAGA Nation, said Mr. Trump’s earnings were proof of his ability to navigate the complicated new frontier of digital finance.

“We live in a free country — capitalism,” Ms. Koch said. “He’s extremely smart. He’s a businessman. My kids follow Bitcoin, Polymarket, Kalshi, all of this new tech stuff. If you don’t, you’re going to be left behind.”

Hopefully Custard is up to par on his bitcoin and Kalshi. Seems he’s mostly worried about eggs. He’s gonna get left behind!

Betting on war is immoral. Particularly if you’re the one deciding whether we go to war or not. Kalshi should be banned.

Hmmm...it does look like a sizable portion of Trump's financial gains come from selling meme coins to his followers.  Not necessarily illegal, but sleazy as hell.  Fleecing the flock is as old as time.

Sounds like some sheiks are buying a lot of them. We’ll take all the money we can get from them and bring it into our economy.

Fixed it for you.

I guess that's one way for the cult to justify the grift.  The sheiks paid millions for the specific purpose of gaining influence and access.  They were invited to a private gala dinner with the president.

By contrast, it was a one-way money transfer for the the tens of thousands of ordinary Trump followers who bought the coin.  They won't get a thank you from him.

Con men have to have marks. Trump has millions of them to fleece.
