That didn't happen..

"When they crossed the border, Canadian officials told them they didn’t have the correct paperwork to bring the car with them. They were turned back to Montana on the American side"

It was the car's fault. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Now tell the rest of the story.

We lack sufficient information to know what documentation they lacked to drive the car in Canada.

How about when they turned around and tried to get thru U.S. Border Patrol and both had prior immigration issues ?

You mean when they were sent back?

Immigration law is confusing.

Wife has overstayed her tourist visa. She paid the penalty and was 100% lawfully present.

Husband had been here 20 years on a work visa?. He kept getting the run around on permanent resident status and finally gave up? I guess he technically overstayed?

They were planning to visit Canada and then go home.

They had subsequently accepted the offer to self deport

Why were they detained without arrest for 6 weeks in a hell hole?

No. Would call it a bastardization

Convenient
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Judging by the amount of people on Maui spending money on really expensive things maybe the economy is okay after all!

Conclusion: “People with money are doing fine!”

I didn't read this story and really didn't give a crap about people getting caught at the actual border who were here illegally, but it sure sounds like there 2 fucked up and even Canada would not let them in. 6 weeks in a hell hole since they failed to follow the law? Adios, illegals.

Bullshit

There is a reason there is a saying about converts and zealotry. You are a prime example.

Bullshit.

You are the Duke of New York when jt comes to zealotry as a convert. A number 1.

Nichi and you can lecture people who actually have to take public transit on tolerating criminals and the crazies from your safe, lilly white suburbs.

" I guess he technically overstayed?"

The shortened version would be that 'he overstayed'.
The Guardian story didn't mention the prior immigration issues for either. And those issues were why they were detained.

If they hadn't attempted to enter Canada, there would have been no faux outrage story.
