The Pat Forde article about the lawsuit makes it look like Arkansas was going to try to fuck BB out of his go away money so BB defended himself accordingly. I’d like to think Whitman, being an attorney, vetted with due diligence.

The WI formula doesn’t seem to translate for any coach at WI once they are no longer at WI. I think he has a higher floor than Lovie Smith but those flashy W-L totals at WI are going to be basically irrelevant 9 years later in Orange and blue.

I think the experience at Arkansas was a pretty big wake up to the ol ego

The Aliioneye quick recorded take was probably right,  that if this guy can recruit offensive lineman,  he will be ok as that is the only time the team has been good lately

While I agree with all you've said here, I also think it's a zillion times more likely that a 50 year old with P5 success can rekindle some magic compared to a 56 year old who succeeded in DIII.
