Carr is good player. Their team looked like shit. Odd nuthugging question about Ayo. He had bad game also.

Kofi had best game of year obviously, but Dakich aside, Kofi looks about the same as last year so far on offense, and is worse on Defense. Needs to makes big improvements before he can be considered at next level. I just want him to play well in BIG.

Ayo has been getting huge press, but he is 4-16 from 3 since the NCAT scrimmage. He is very good in midrange with some space and can be electric in open floor. I still think his lack of range is problem for us now, and him at next level.
We are much better team when he shoots less overall. 12-13 takes is about right.
The Duke offensive distribution was our best game and that is how we were good at end of last year,

Odd nuthugging question about Ayo.

Sometimes you have to pivot. I was going for a Trent quote, but his initial response was so sorrowful. So I just ended with a generic encomium.

Banged up though.
We should handle them.

Thanks Rob, good stuff. I thought the best question was the peoria one, got Underwood into it. And nice job with the first name treatment.

DMW unfortunately not a riveting interview

The difference between listening to Pitino and Underwood is stark. Underwood handles himself a lot like Bill Self. Pitino sounds like an assistant in his first week after being named interim coach.

And never has been.

I was mildly annoyed that no one "engaged" my question, seen here at bottom right in the Chat panel.

That’s hilarious. Not surprised this current group of schlubs that cover the Illini wouldn’t touch that. They can’t even come up with questions I’d want answers to.

For the record I meant he’s not a riveting interview in general, not that this was a one-off. I don’t get the feeling he wants to be there and if that’s the case I hope we get interviews with players who will be happy to share some insight during this critical stretch run.

I better chime in.
Kalscheur is out with a pinky.
Lil Ricky says he's the best perimeter defender in the league. He can get hot from 3 too.
Robbins is a "hopeful" with an anker.
Gofs are 13-1 at home, losing to the Terps. They have 5 home wins vs ranked teams.
Without Kalscheur, and with a hobbling Robbins, they lost at Indiana by 10.
Time to stop throwing the ball away and start valuing possessions.
