These conference finals have been epic so far. Wow Wemby in night one then the ultimate Cavs collapse yesterday. But I hate the Knicks so was rooting for Cavs to keep the lead. Not that either Eastern team has much chance in the finals.

Just witnessed quite the disappearing act from Chet Holmgren in Game 7. Wemby had him all shook like Ben Simmons out there.

Saw that.  Hopefully, his replacement is another of the Fab Five.

Wonder if there's gonna be open portal season on Michigan's roster.

They got any Balkans on their roster? 🤔

Oh it will be for sure. Might as well round out our roster with Elliott Cadeau or Trey McKinney 😬

In all seriousness, I don’t love how many eggs we have in the true freshmen basket this year when our motto a couple years ago was to get old and stay old. I get that there are only so many minutes to go around and trying to push that boundary cost us Fears two summers ago, but maybe we just need to learn how to be better at doing it like other schools are. Coleman in all likelihood won’t be anywhere near as good as Keaton was and here we are betting the season on him. Thought all along we needed a veteran guard

NCAA changing eligibility rules for foreign players.

Q Coleman is quicker, faster, and longer than Wagler. He'll likely play off the ball. Stefan Vaaks and Lucas Morillo will probably share PG duties. Morillo doing well at practice.

The NCAA is  cracking down on international players with pro expansion. Also, the new 5 to play 5 adversely affects older players. Add in the existing challenges with nil, visas, and strict academic progress rules, it might be time to adjust..

This morning's fishwrap 3 paragraph bit about eligibility begins with "Eager to lessen the chaos of the transfer portal era, the NCAA ......."
And finishes with "No longer will extensions be considered for athletes who are injured."

Ty Rodgers might be thinking 'wtf, I'm not a chaos agent and neither are others in my shoes.'
The new rules take effect this fall.
