We would have specifically heard this from differing sources if this was an issue with the veterans

Clearly not “Kap.”
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

It was related to the midseason hubub about how some of the vets apparently thought Caleb hand been handed the keys to the kingdom and handn’t done enough to earn them. You basically asked for something “pre-Kap.”

I asked for something about how he allegedly was not working hard enough aside from Kap.

That wasn't even close and they mocked the whole Bagant/Rome dad claim.

If that was the veterans' alleged issue, it would have been States to put pressure on him to get his ass to Halas Hall. Don't you think?

States?

There were at least a couple of veterans who said Caleb needed to come in an earn his position (Jaylon, and I think DJ hinted as much). Was it Keenan that had a problem with Caleb early?

Is Kap a trouble maker? I honestly don’t know. I don’t listen to him much. I’m a Danny Parkins guy.

I wasn't aware of any of this. I had a feeling it might be a case of a player saying pre-season that a rookie needs to earn his playing time or position. And it's said by everybody, and it's said about veterans too.
Johnson's quote was a couple of days after the draft.

"Anyone who read the original quote in full knows what Johnson explained Monday. His quote was never a criticism of Williams.
This series of events is a sign of good leadership from Jaylon Johnson. He made sure to let everyone know what he really meant. Even though the misunderstanding what not his fault. Johnson reached out to Williams to speak with him and make sure the two of them were on the same page."

I believe Johnson reiterated that to some degree around training camp. IIRC. And it was more than just saying “insert rookie here has to earn his spot,” it was “Caleb can’t be bringing that Hollywood stuff here.”

I do think there was something to the veterans being frustrated with the lack of accountability re: Caleb, but it seems that wasn’t just a Caleb issue, it was one across the board. Even PAMan seems to be conveniently forgetting he heard (a former GM?) say that he feels (or heard?) Caleb thought it was going to be easier than it was. Remember, Caleb promised Tory Taylor he wouldn’t be punting much.

And there could have been some early reluctance to accept Caleb, as Justin Fields had the respect of many in the locker-room.

Current coaching carousel predictions:

Bears: Ben Johnson. The Brady factor in Vegas is real, but ultimately Caleb sways Johnson’s decision.

Raiders: Pete Carroll. Brady will settle on a proven winner.

Cowboys: Deion Sanders. Jerry and Deion were made for each other. This is will be a giant soap opera all year. Good times ahead for football reporters.

Saints: Mike McCarthy (but maybe Kingsbury)

Jets: Aaron Glenn. The former Jet returns home to establish a better culture.

Jacksonville: Joe Brady. Good fit IMO.

I refuse to accept that everybody was acting like a bunch of 12 year old girls.
And my apologies to the girls.

Jaylon Johnson was not the one painting his nails!

Focus Tempo. No one bitched about his work ethic except Kap. That video you posted never mentioned it.
