I remember opening day 1985, when the Bears came in with very high expectations, and were down 28-17 at the half at home to the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bears never did recover that season…

Again, hindsight is 100%. Marshawn Lynch from the 1 yard line that year, 20%. It was a terrible call because everyone had the benefit of hindsight. Confirmation bias is so prevalent, many don’t even understand when they are employing it.

As I told PAMan, I’m surprised he thinks the 85 Bears were any good since they weren’t perfect and were embarrassed by Marino and the Dolphins. Maybe lucky the Dolphins didn’t make it to the Super Bowl.
