We aren’t shooting worth a shit either though. So same could be said for us.
I am pretty sure in more cases than not, if the #1 team is playing this bad ANY other team would think they should be up by ALOT, not down by 1. That said, the ILLINI are mishandling the ball, weak with ball control, Vols know the cuts, and our players for the most part are running plays, not improvising when good D is being played.
Riley is the exception so far, and he is nowhere near strong enough with the ball, his cuts, and his shot selection well....not NBA 1st Rd material imo this year. Love what the kid brings to us, he just isn't ready.
Ivisic has to come on strong, foul out Lanier/Zeigler...just run plays at them the 2nd half. Make them take more 3's, they prefer cuts/and 2's.
C'mon BU, gameplan, and get White against Lanier matchups would be nice on offense. Defer KJ some and get some easy 2's in play with chance at some and 1's.
