B1G 3 of KJ/Tre/Boswell carried the day, rebounding was a group effort. Intense defense on Tonje for most of the game. Kleismet is a pest damn graduate already.

Free Throws were like they are supposed to be, fouls were pretty much even, intensity was mostly from the ILLINI.

Good win, Humdinger needs to come off the bench.

Tennessee is going to run wild on us with dunks/backdoors. We will need Rez for that game from physical standpoint, White from athletic and Boswell once again from the defense on ball pressure. DGL edge hopefully couldn't hurt either.

Riley not playing more is inexplicable when either Humrichous or White are struggling. He out-rebounds Humrichous playing several minutes less.

Solid win last night, though; must-win if we're going to be legit in the B1G. Tennessee is almost a freebie b/c everyone expects us to get whipped.

Don’t think TN is a good matchup for us at all especially at this point of the season. We have several key contributors that seem to be in a slump right now, including Riley. We struggle with athleticism and physicality which Tennessee has plenty of. Not saying we can’t win this one, but we are going to need our studs to be studs and guys like Humrichous to provide some valuable minutes. That performance from him last night was like Goode at East Lansing last year where we had a cushion at the 8 minute mark and Sparty started hunting Luke, Brad refused to take him out and left Rodgers on the bench when we needed defense and rebounding. Lead evaporated and we lost. Would have done the same night if each team shot FTs like they normally do. A little concerning coming off a game where Brad admitted to some coaching gaffes that cost us down the stretch.

Don't disagree with Humdinger seeing the pine, that said, Riley has got to get more solid with ball handling, strength, and shot selection. As of right now, he is in no way ready for the NBA, he will be back with us (hopefully) or someone else not in the league.

KJ is gone imo, Ivisic is a toss up imo, Riley is a stay in school for one more year.

It's a team game. We were returning something like 15% of our minutes and scoring. And that was before Rodgers decided to redshirt.
It's not ideal.
