If Bama is the 8th best team in the nation....level of play is down. I know they dropped a 100, but that is more of an indictment on the ILLINI defense than the talent (AND THERE IS A LOT OF IT) on Bama's side.
Free Throws would have possibly won this for us alone, some sort of defense would have been able to keep the helter skelter Oats team to less than a Havlicek score.
Philon is an absolute talent, but he is a punk....saw him throwing at least 5-7 elbows at different players.
Lesson learned I hope, if we are behind on defense now, and get better as most BU teams do as the year goes on, we will be fine.
Didn't cover, didn't think we would, by January, I would put our team up against almost anyone else...Feb we go on run, March we will be one tough out.
