It’s kinda funny, I read an article someone linked, probably here, and it said that the media was about to go on a full blown smear campaign on RFKj. I think it might have been NYP?

Anyways, I didn’t even really know who or what RFKj really was, but literally a day or two later he was getting lambasted nonstop here and on the TVs at the gym. Funny to me.

Pretty sure I saw a post of yours saying the entire GOP was Trump? Perhaps I misread. It’s been a busy evening.

I’m not sure if Trump controls the party. I don’t see much support locally, which is pretty conservative but perhaps more upper middle class? Most of the true GOP type people in this group seem to back RdS. 

I am really fuckin’ sure the media wants us to think Trump controls the GOP, however. He’s only the biggest media boon they’ve ever seen.

Trump towers over the GOP.  Heck, many Republican voters think he is still President.  Why would they want to vote for Trump again?  For one very big reason. To enjoy his revenge.   

DeSantis, on the other hand, is looking more and more like the Edsel of the GOP.  The combination of horrible retail skills, toxic personality and totally incompetent campaign is pretty unique, usually you get just two out of those three. 

If Trump does not get the GOP nomination, it probably won’t be because he lost more primaries than the other guy.  It will be because he cops a plea deal that requires him to withdraw from the race, suffers a major health event or dies.

Some people are genetically predisposed to being heavy. Pritzker looks a bit that way to me. He looks about like his father did. But yeah, I’m sure he could trim a few pounds. Maybe he just loves food. He can certainly afford the best of it. If he wants to run for national office (and by every appearance he does) would benefit him to lose some weight.

I really do like Jordan Klepper but he's really missing a good zinger when he's out interviewing these Trumpers who say he's still President.

If Trump won in 2016, and he won in 2020 and is still President, then he's ineligible to run un 2024 - per the Constitution they hold so dear - as he is term limited.
