Normally, with prices and demand this high, production would be booming. Producers who lost money due to the pandemic are now using record profits to reward investors. They have reluctant to increase production. Even if they increased production to max capacity;  they can't make up for Russia.

Republicans will blame cancellation of Keystone XL and the "regulatory environment."

Eventually a combination of events will lower oil prices, but not this year.

Unfortunately, we’re still living in a prison of dependency on fossil fuels.

Al time record spring rain fall again. Supercell thunderstorm with 11.3 mile high tops over Chicago. Tornado sirens in the city. Almost 100 in mid June in rural NE Illinois.  Overnight lows near 80.  Do they track record high over night low temps? Ghost forests on the eastern seaboard that were plush green areas just 20 years ago.

Climate change is clearly a hoax.
