40 points allowed in one half to the conference bottomfeeder who just fired their offensive coordinator and was starting a backup QB. And we were coming off a bye week on top of that. A bowl game I'd have to say is in serious doubt.

Things like this are why I stopped emotionally investing in Illinois football. Giving up 40 second half points at home to a bad football team is pretty close to an all-time low.
