Before yesterday I was semi-confident in Eberflus (and willing to be patient on Waldron). My patience and belief took a huge hit yesterday. Going to take a win streak to get me back on board.

As Kyle Brandt said a little bit ago “just stack wins!” This is definitely stacking wins season.

This season was kinda a toss up. I’m ok with whatever and good draft picks. Next year is the year I expect playoffs and a great team. A QB in his rookie season is a whatever happens happens season in my opinion.

I do think that’s pretty fair, but I also think it’s reasonable to think the Bears should be ahead of schedule. I mean they were three losses in games they had a 96% chance of winning away from finishing 10-7 last year, and theoretically had signicant upgrades. If Flus isn’t at least 9-8 he should be gone IMO. And actually id say he probably needs to make the playoffs unless there are highly unusual circumstances.

And as rough as things have been, I don’t blame either loss directly on Caleb. I think Waldron is the bigger problem. And probably Flus because Flus can’t let Waldron be a disaster like that. I don’t expect Flus to call plays, but he can oversee personnel
and dictate game plans.
