I get that the RBs do, but what does that have to do with the OL getting push?
Again, smart football people talk about getting “lathered up.” Which means getting physical and getting into a rhythm. Hard to do in finesse football when you have people who apparently aren’t good at finesse football. Plus, you’re putting more pressure on your rookie QB. Kreutz talks about it all the time. Line up and go man on man. It’s hard to get into a rhythm when your offense isn’t proficient in all the “timing” stuff.
