I really don’t have an affinity for him. I think he’s good at talking sports. Not sure id be that interested in hanging out with him. I fully recognize he’s sometimes unnecessarily mean and weird. But it seems he’s gotten a lot better in recent years. I probably haven’t listened to him 5 hours in the last year. These hero worship scenarios of Bernstein and Parkins you’ve got in your head are largely fiction.

He's not particularly good at shit. But that's my opinion. He's a petulant child. Which is probably why you relate to him so well.

And to be fair, the Barstool guys suck too. But I'm enjoying watching them roast him. Because he fucking deserves it. At minimum, it made his life a tad less convenient. I'm fine with that.

I didn’t defend any of those comments. He’s apologized for them and as far as I know hasn’t said anything like that in years. It’s not like he raped someone. He made dumb comments while trying to be edgy. We’ve probably all done it.

He wouldn’t be on the air 30 years if he wasn’t good at his job. When is the last time you’ve listened to him? He’s been a much softer/gentler Dan the last 5 years or so. I’ve not listened much at all the last 1.5 years or so.

Like I've said. He's a survivor. It's weird that he decided to take on the Barstool guys when there really was nothing to fight about. It will be interesting to see what happens. Most likely nothing. But it's good Twitter entertainment.
