He was very much drafting off the wildly popular B&B at that time and had adopted their schtick to some degree. Very snarky and dismissive of Illini hoops, but took DePaul very seriously. I remember being caught off guard that he seemed to be genuinely hurt when I laid his hypocrisy bare.
