Taking 9-10 sacks in blowouts to bad teams is absurd. Tearing an ACL or completely ruining his confidence for meaningless games is absurd. He’s a sitting duck back there.

In any other industry you’d protect your massive investment from risk when there is very little reward to be had. Of course we can’t expect the Bears to make practical decisions.
