It’s really impressive when anyone can even kinda keep up with the USA in hoops. I think they sandbag it a lot.

After watching the debacle that was the ladies hoops game, I am now on Team Spark and Tempo. Let the ladies who are really guys play. That should raise the level of play by quite a bit. They should at least be able to dribble the ball.

I watched golf and the final quarter of the gold medal basketball game (men’s). That’s about it.

Watching the American woman rugby player break a tackle and run the entire length of the field with 10 seconds or so left on the clock was pretty spectacular.

I’ve always been the same as my old man—watch the Olympics out of a sense of obligation. This year things have been busy for this time of year, see it on in every restaraunt I’m in, just haven’t had the itch to watch it when I do sit down finally at night.

This Olympics was fun. US followed through in basketball, gymnastics, women's swimming and most of the track stuff other than the hilarious failures of the 4 x 100 team. Peacock has been solid in providing access to the secondary events or coverage stripped of the NBC primetime BS. Paris seemed to provide great venues. Wish the next one was in a different US city than LA (or Chi).
