I would say management did this intentionally. Handwriting was on the wall and wouldn't fire him until the losing streak was broken. This kind of move of canning the manager after a win breaking a long losing streak has happened in the past. I just can't remember the specific teams or managers involved.
All the shit of losing can't be thrown onto Grifol. Bad roster, cheap owner who needs to get outta there. 6 playoff years out of his 43 years in charge. Yes, 2005 was great but that was long ago. 89 wins and 190 losses for 2023 and 24.
