I have watched Iowa a lot this year and we honestly are not a great matchup for them on paper.
They are not real physical or that athletic, do not rebound great due to size and playing some zone, and do not guard the three that well.
They are not high volume or great three point shooting team. They do have better ball skills than us and ability to get their guys looks they can make.
McCaffery is a redass but knows how to get guys in positions to score. They are generally bad defensively, but will try a halfass press to keep the tempo high.
They play very fast and are not fazed at all when down by double digits. They can score in bunches at times.
Sandfort has no conscience. He and Perkins can get on heaters.
If the complementary guys like Freeman and Krikke and Dix and young McCaffery get going it could be a game.
They have had leads in a lot of games on the road lately and are playing hard trying to get to bubble.
They really have nothing to lose tomorrow. Pressure is on us to hold serve.
I think we handle them by 7-9 points at home. I think the game at their place will be very difficult.
