I hope the outcome of a close Bowl, today's game is not decided by penalties. But if penalties are committed, they must/need to be called. I hate the "swallowing the whistle" that can go on at the end of games. The "let the players decide the outcome" is cop-out bullshit if they commit obvious penalties and the flag isn't thrown.
Fair enough, but last years’ holding call that decided the game was literally the only holding call of the game. The previous year there were 3 penalties called the first 58 minutes, then 3 called the last 2 or so. If you’re calling it loose, call it loose the whole game.
