When good teams get to the meat of the season they’re typically playing 8 or fewer. We’ve got two guys who’ve been hurt in Hansberry and Moretti, and, of course, an All American who is suspended. Hansberry probably could have helped us yesterday with interior D and rebounding.

Agree for sure on shorter rotations.
Certainly no TSj has created issues as he was 33 mpg and he was playing very good D and AA offense.

Hansberry might have helped give guys a blow at least but not sure how much he would have helped on D.
Young was getting into lane at will, and Reese really handled Hawkins.
I think they should have put Guerrier on Reese a little bit as he is stronger and more physical.

Moretti might be useful later in season to create offense in half court.

We will just need to figure it out.

Anyone who thinks we’re still in line for a 1-3 seed is pretty much kidding themselves. Right now I would absolutely sign up for a 5 seed and be quite happy about it.

I would sign up for any seed and be happy about it.
Official winner of the HQ Tallest Midget award. Thanks, Jobu!

Lou Henson used to say he hated playing a team that just lost its star player, because everyone else steps up their game. He added that the bump lasts 2 or 3 games and reality sets in.

I think this team has enough talent to still be good, but could have been more than good.
