And for the record, I was never as anti-Caleb as people here would have you believe. I maintained the entire time that if Fields is gone, he’s the #1 pick. If you think you can find something here stating otherwise, good luck with that because I’m pretty sure it doesn’t exist. Yes, I thought there were some possible red flags with Caleb, but nothing that was likely to keep me from drafting him. Once Fields was traded, he was the obvious choice.
Nope, you were never anti-Caleb. You just thought it was reasonable to criticize him for:
1. the car he drove
2. not doing medicals at the combine (or, as you put it in the case of a different player, 'skipping things that it's understandable he'd skip').
3. crying and hugging his mom after a loss
4. a comment he made on some random dude's video
5. replying to posts about him on social media
and many others. All while arguing against any criticism or Fields' actual, on-field play.
You talked shit here ALL YEAR about Caleb. I suppose you could make the argument, though, that you weren't "anti-Caleb" because it so obviously wasn't ever about Caleb Williams at all but instead was about a weird devotion to the last QB, regardless of his on-field play.
