It’s true, Mac had even less than Fields. NE probably had the worst offensive talent in FB the last 2 years. Mac could be fine in a better situation. But he clearly regressed and was broken. Perhaps he’s fine on the right team, but I don’t see anything special there at all. I think a Mac Jones/Brock Purdy swap experiment would be interesting.

The Steelers are a good fit for Russell IMO. They get a proven winner, and they basically get him for free as Denver is paying his salary. Tomlin is probably as well equipped to manage Russ as any coach in the league.

You’ve said this multiple times in private messages to me, but his stats from last year are extremely similar to his stats from 2013, the year the Seahawks won the Super Bowl.

I never said stats don’t matter. But they aren’t the be all end all. But good stats are generally an indicator of good play, sure.
