Way to make up for that turnover, Coleman

3 point game. Amazing.

Win or lose, this is a damn good team without TSJ still. Love this fight, experience, and poise in the face of adversity.

We fought back on the road in a hostile environment against the #1 team without our NPOY candidate.

Still feeling pretty good about our squad.

We have a better start to the game and might’ve been a different game. Should be a solid tournament team and top 2-4 in B1G still.

42% from 3, 11 turnnovers with 4 in the 2nd half, 18-21 on free shots.
A good ball game for us.

Not mad about this loss. Had we not had such a shitty start- would would have won this.

I hate mackey arena. Hostile enviroment with homer officiating. My least favorite arena in the Big10

ILLINI may drop based on other teams, but other than the rough start to the game, they have nothing to hang their heads about really.

On the road vs #1 ranked team in a place they historically do not do well in, regardless of rankings, and against the #1 player in the nation, without arguably our Top #5 type of player...overall, well done boys, way to fight all the way.

CoHawk is emerging
Guerrier is a man against boys many nights
Domask may very well be working on a draft resume, he can just do a little of everything all the time.
Goode, starting to look like he belongs out there
Harmon again playing tough and knocking down some shots when needed
DGL got a little run finally and looked under control with exception of ill advised step back jumper
Dain, well very few games may suit his skill set unfortunately.

On the to next one 2-1 conference and right where we need to be.

5-1 or 4-2 in the next 6 games.

Purdue may win them all until they meet up against us again.

With Edey playing off of Rodgers, wonder why high/low or wing back cut lobs wouldn't have worked. I know BU admitted he didn't plan for this as much as he should have, but in game he could of had Rodgers back door lob a few times???

That’s probably the best anyone will do all year against Edey, home or away.

We got absolutely murdered on the boards. Purdue outrebounds everyone, but man did it seem like the bounces went their way tonight. Thought maybe our length at guard and wing might have been in our favor in that regard.

We looked uncomfortable from the jump and short armed some wide open shots right off the bat. That little double they were throwing at Domask really disrupted us early. We missed some defensive assignments in transition, they couldn’t miss, and all of a sudden it was 20-4. Wasn’t expecting that kind of start from this veteran group.

After we adjusted and settled in we outplayed them the rest of the game. Plenty of opportunity to have really made them sweat or even have won this one. Not happy we spent a big part of the game down so big, but glad we fought back and made it a game. If someone would have told me before the game that we’d lose by 5, I’d have taken it.

Anyone else think Brad told them not to foul at the end to keep the final score closer for the metrics? That’s what I was begging them to do while watching.

PU shot 47% from 3, outrebounded us by 15, started the game up 20-4, and managed to hang onto a 3 pt lead with 13 sec to go on their home floor.
